Christmas party or team event at the end of the year? Request your tea workshop now!
I would be happy to tell you how you can enjoy sophisticated tea even in the hectic everyday life of an office, and what advantages it brings for everyone involved, on the sidelines of your end-of-year celebrations – and just in time for your good (tea) resolutions for the new year!
Tea is more than just a drink. In this special workshop format, I will talk in an entertaining way about how a consciously enjoyed cup of tea in the new year can help you find a moment of reflective calm between marathon meetings and to-do lists.
Tea recommendation for the end-of-the-year: Anji Baicha

Although there are more affordable Chinese green teas that offer a similar experience, this renowned original is still my personal preference. Or, as my former mentor used to say, “The only tea I really need.”
This green tea comes from Anji County in the Chinese province of Zhejiang and is very special to me in many ways. Made from the Bai Ye No. 1 (白叶一号) cultivar, the leaves of this green tea appear pale green in spring due to a very low amount of chlorophyll, which is why the tea is referred to as “white” in its nickname despite being made as a green tea.

Online seminars: new dates & now also with personal certificate!

I am pleased to announce my new online seminar dates! With the virtual event “Basics: Introduction to the World of Tea” I am bringing my popular tea basics seminar directly to your home.
What’s special about it: Instead of the usual tea tasting in the physical seminar, I invite the participants to bring their own teas and accessories and to ask individual questions. The other content around tea production, preparation, etc. is identical to the physical seminar “Basics: Journey into the World of Tea”.
The following dates in November and December can be booked now – Attention: with the code “ThomasTalksTea” there is a discount of 5,- Euro per ticket!*

🌿 Local wild herbs
📈 Beyond the tea bowl: tea trends
🥰 Building a strong tea community
And with that: until next time!

Today we conclude with an insight into my life away from tea – and maybe a little motivation for everyone who would like to move more?
After years of practically only moving from bed to tea/desk to couch and back, I finally started running again three weeks ago. If you haven’t experienced it, let me tell you: it’s not just tea that clears your head! I can really only recommend it. The sporty among you are welcome to find me on Strava for motivation – maybe we’ll see each other soon at the evening 5k run?
Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you again in the next newsletter, at the tea seminar – or maybe even at a team workshop with your colleagues?
Bye & best wishes
